Default Samsung series 6 LCD TVs

Sony introduced the Bravia & LG created the Scarlet, being the market leader it's Samsung's turn took action to keep its brand in the market with a lead.

Samsung has truly redefined the way consumers use HDTVS by the introduction of its new series 6 LCD HDTV.

Not only is picture quality dramatically enhanced, but an elegant new design born from Samsungs extensive research and development in automotive and fashion industries bringing HDTV design to a whole new level. Series 6 design is spot on, perfection would be the correct word to use, and they have made sure that its design is like no other.

The series 6 features a unique top of the class design, Samsung’s design department has introduced a new idea for the Series 6, called Touch Of Color. The Touch Of Color® involves a hint of amber naturally blended into the piano-black bezel frame. The series 6 has a seamless curvaceous geometry, with no corners or real lines and Samsungs traditional glossy finish. Samsung's new molding process creates a clean, smooth finish infused with a hint of a translucent color during the manufacturing process

The rear too is filled with gloss with a small square I/O window consisting mainly of 4 HDMI 1.3s, (one is on the side). It comes with a USB slot too, along with VGA in (for PCS), Component, Composite, and S-video AV-ins.

Samsung has also incorporated sophisticated networking and easy connection capability in response to consumer interest. In particular, up-to-the-minute access to weather, news, sports and stock information is just a cable and a click away through the HDTV's Ethernet port and new InfoLink™ RSS service.

The Series 6 range will come in 40, 46 and 52-inch models, all offering a 178-degree viewing angle, and a claimed response time of 4ms. It also features Samsung's own Auto Motion+ motion blur reduction technology, which will please sports fans and gamers.

Contrast and brightness levels achieve new heights in the Series 6. Movies and shows come to life with enhanced details in very dark or bright scenes, giving you a more realistic and sharper picture quality that’s sure to catch your eye.

Designed to be the entertainment hub in the home, the Series 6 LCD HDTV enables consumers to access a wide range of digital and multimedia devices—such as MP3 players, camcorders, and PCs—and have their contents displayed, managed and played through the HDTV.

Samsung Series 6 is moderately priced & likely to grasp a good share of the market, Sony’s Bravia and LG’s scarlet are likely to feel the heat coming from Samsungs sales.
